Our desire is to love others as Jesus loves us by partnering with existing Christian agencies, helping to meet real needs in the city of Tucson and its surrounding areas.

And how did Jesus love? Agape is the Greek word for love. But it is not just any kind of love. It is specifically the kind of love that Jesus Christ shows to all of us. And what does this kind of love look like? Well, here are some ways to describe it: taking action, sacrificial, putting others first, serving without expecting anything in return. We believe Agape is a verb and by loving as Jesus loves, we believe we will not only be doing what Jesus asked us to do, but by being Jesus with skin on, people will have the opportunity to see who He really is because of the love we show them.

Primavera Foundation Monthly Lunch Team
Northwest is partnering with the Primavera Foundation.  The team purchases, prepares and serves lunch once a month to men in the Primavera program.  The Foundation reported volunteers from all over the city provided 35,760 total hours last year to the Foundation.  What a wonderful blessing to all to those being served!

You can become a part of our Monthly Lunch Team and help out with this important ministry.   We need people to cook or purchase the needed food and take it to the church.  And we also need others to help every other month by going with us and serving the lunch to the men.  It’s a great way to “Agape Tucson!” Email Millie Ethier at milliecook@aol.com to become involved!

Street Light Ministries
