Help is here...

Hey, let's be honest, at some point in our lives we will need help. These past few weeks and for that matter past months have been particularly hard for many people-emotionally, financially, and even spiritually. So at Northwest, we want to help. We have provided some information on resources in the Tucson area available for you if you need help or if you know someone who needs help. Please check back often for updates as additional resources may be added as we become aware of them.

Information & Referral Services
Find all kinds of services — from food, clothing and shelter to information about child and elder care, immunizations, counseling, literacy and English language learning, drug dependency and domestic violence.  Information Specialists help callers clarify their needs, provide referrals to the appropriate organizations and, if needed, will advocate on the callers’ behalf..

Bountiful Baskets  Food Co-op
This is great!  Checkout their websiteand register (for free). Participants save a substantial amount of money on healthy food, mostly fruit and vegetables, but they also have bread and other items to purchase.  You receive a variety of high quality seasonal produce and we balance variety with seasonal items as well.  One basket (cost $15.00) will normally have about $50 on average of food.

Project Action
Project Action is a program for residents of the City of Tucson and Pima County (Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita, South Tucson and Rural Pima County) which provides services to : Help people to avoid becoming homeless and help people who have recently become homeless to find a place to live.
